What is fast page mode random access memory?

FPM RAM

FPM RAM stands for fast page mode random access memory. It is faster than DRAM, and functions by accessing different memory addresses once, instead of every single time. However, FPM RAM is only suitable for low-end model computers operating at 66 MHz and below.
